World Health Day Challenge - Volunteer

     

Duties:

•To provide general and ongoing support for the CPAR’s World Health Day Challenge event
•To make thank you calls as well as prospecting phone calls to Canadian physicians
•To help coordinate promotional mailings to Canadian physicians to encourage event registration
•To coordinate mailings for participant registration packages throughout the event
•To coordinate two days of volunteer fundraising in the TTC
•To recruit and manage volunteers for the TTC fundraising event
•To track participant registration and donations through Excel and also to generate event income analytics through the same platform

Qualifications:

•University degree or college diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education. (fundraising, marketing, community development or communications experience preferred)
•Previous experience in event marketing and promotion
•Community fundraising experience
•Flexible, resilient, confident, collaborative and hardworking
•Excellent phone demeanour
•Entrepreneurial, strategic-minded, energetic and creative
•High energy, positive attitude, motivation to succeed, and demonstrated initiative
