Peer Support Volunteers Needed at Willow Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada is committed to ensuring that no one need face breast cancer alone. For over 15 years breast cancer survivors, trained to deliver compassionate support and offer helpful information continue to make a significant difference in the lives of thousands of Canadians affected by breast cancer.

The demand for telephone and email based peer support is increasing at Willow and we want to make certain that our callers receive timely support and information during the business day.

Outreach opportunities are also available for anyone interested in providing peer support in the community.

If you are a breast cancer survivor, and at least one year out from your own treatment experience and are interested in learning how to deliver this valuable service in the company of wonderful people, then contact Liz Cole, Director of Support Services, 416.778.6314 ext. 233 or email ecole@willow.org

Peer support shifts are typically four hours in length with a minimum requirement of two shifts per month.
