Stephen Lewis Foundation

     

The Stephen Lewis Foundation helps to ease the suffering associated with HIV/Aids in Africa by funding projects at the grassroots level to help individuals, families and communities.

These projects are the focus of the Foundation, as it provides resources to small frontline groups that make effective use of smaller amounts of money.

On rare occasions, they fund larger projects when they are certain that the funds will be distributed at a community level.

Ninety per cent of funds donated go directly to the affected communities.

The Foundation has been fortunate to host a number of dedicated and hardworking volunteers who work at the Foundation office and, on occasion, staff Foundation tables at events Toronto HIV/AIDS Charities and Fundraisers
