Sick Kids Lottery 2011
The total number of prizes is over 8000 and the total value of all prizes is over 2 million dollars. Over the past five years, SickKids Foundation has helped purchase clinical and research equipment from incubators to PET Machines.

The odds of winning the Sick Kids Lottery are approximately 1 in 5
2008 and 2009 Contributions:
$34.6 million to the SickKids Research Institute
$8.6 million for capital equipment and projects at the hospital
$2.1 million to clinical and research equipment
$3.9 million to training and education
Annual grants made by SickKids Foundation to The Hospital for Sick Children are the largest investments in paediatric health care in Canada and the largest annual contributions to any hospital in this country.
The proceeds of the lottery are used to further the mission of SickKids Foundation and help support the Hospital for Sick Children.
