The Ontario Archaeological Society is a registered charitable organization that promotes the ethical practice of archaeology in the Province of Ontario and beyond.

History:

The Ontario Archaeological Society began in 1950 as the joint project of a group of enthusiastic amateurs. Growth of membership and support from the Ontario and federal governments finally made it possible for the OAS to get its very own office and staff.

You can donate directly via our website or you can participate in events advertised here on Toronto Charities.

Fundraising:

Events are published both on the OAS website and on Toronto Charities where possible. Please contact us directly for the fundraising ideas or any volunteering opportunities.
