WHAT IS PATHWAYS TO EDUCATION?
We are a comprehensive program that helps students to succeed in high school and graduate prepared for their future careers

WHY VOLUNTEER WITH PATHWAYS?
Not only is it fun, challenging and rewarding, but we have proven success: our Rexdale students attend more classes and earn more credits. Our Regent Park program reduced the dropout rate from 56% to 10%. We provide volunteers with training, on-site staff support, letters of reference and volunteer appreciation events.

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?
TUTORS help students with studying and assignments in all high school subjects
MENTORS work in teams to lead group activities, games and discussions, and to chaperone field trips

WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?
Any adult who is interested in working with youth, gaining teaching experience, and giving back to the community

All it takes is two hours one evening a week during the school year

Tutoring and mentoring take place Monday to Thursday throughout the school year in the Martin Grove and Finch area
