Ontario Vegetarian Food Bank is a not-for-profit organization and its mission is to engage, inspire, and lead Canadians in creating a hunger free world.We understand the people turn to vegetarianism for many reasons, be it spiritual, health, environmental or ethical.Our aim is to provide not only nutritious food to low income people but also give them education, Support, and Hope.
We provide fresh fruits and vegetables along with vegetarian non-perishable food items to our clients.
Along with these foods, we also provide counselling and settlement services,Food Handling certification, volunteer opportunities in different areas of employment,community service order program by the Ontario court of justice and referrals to other social service agencies in the Toronto Region,York Region, Peel Region and Durham Region.
