Nellie’s Women's Shelter provides shelter, safety and support for women and their children who are experiencing personal and financial crisis because of violence, poverty, homelessness, and despair.

Our programs include a 36-bed Shelter and a Community Support and Outreach Program that focus on the diverse needs of marginalized women.

In order to improve the conditions for women and children in our care, Nellie's is starting a Capital Campaign to raise substantial funds to build a new shelter!

Since 1974, Nellie’s has helped to rebuild the lives of over 13,000 women and children in our community.

Nellie's is a non-profit women's organization that assists women and children in crisis. It operates a 36-bed emergency shelter for women and children who are homeless and who are subjected to violence.

A community services support program provides aftercare and follow-up support once its clients have left the shelter.
