These Workshops are an exciting and engaging combination of animal welfare and youth education designed to create a future generation of lifelong animal welfare advocates.Where: Mattamy Athletic Center- 50 Carlton, Street – Blue and Gold Room
When: Tuesdays starting July 4th thru August 29th, 6pm – 8pm

Bulletin: 1000’s of Greater Toronto Area students are becoming Youth4Animals “Protectors” and we’re inviting all youth and volunteer organizations to join the movement.
Youth4Animals ADOPT, DON’T SHOP Summer Workshops are an exciting and highly informative presentation designed to educate, equip and empower our youth and their families to be responsible, life-long pet owners and animal welfare “Protectors”.
By becoming a Youth4Animals “Protector” our youth, with support from their families, make a commitment to engage in actions that help to save the lives of over 4.5 Million dogs and cats annually. Our workshops mentor students to express themselves, take risks and learn.
Educational Benefits to volunteers:
1. Leadership skills & Team building- developing their Protector Campaign Team to achieve their pledge
levels through extensive community outreach
2. Public Speaking and Communication skills- becoming a Protector Humane Speaker and presenting
to their classroom or youth organization
3. Volunteerism- learning the value of volunteering and maximizing effectiveness
4. Social Media/Public Relations fundamentals
5. Non-Profit Business Incubation Program- learning to build within the non-profit sector
6. Certificates of Completion issued for community service hours

Now is the time to shine a light on our Toronto youth and volunteers and have them realize how powerful their collective voices can be in speaking for animals that cannot speak for themselves.

Our Summer Workshop Program culminates a huge and exciting Bark in the Park/YAPPY HOUR/Protector Awards Ceremony at the end of August.
