The ME to WE School Engagement team is seeking a highly energetic and results-oriented sales professional to join our department as a Senior Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of School Engagement, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, nurturing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients consisting of a variety of educational institutions across Canada, the U.S. & U.K. as well as community groups from around the world. Our ideal candidate is someone intrinsically motivated, who thinks outside of the box to source leads, and works to deepen customer relationships.

ME to WE is redefining what it means to travel with purpose and the successful candidate will play a critical role in contributing to the success of the School Engagement team. As such, it is important that you bring with you not only a strong and successful track record of achievement in the sales arena, but also an appreciation of the impact that our ME to WE trips have on both our travellers and the local communities we serve.

This individual must be passionate and committed to the core beliefs of the organization—the Philosophy.

The position is based out of WE’s office in Toronto.

Your Impacts:
Take ownership of all inside and outside sales-related activities within your portfolio through:
Outreach (e.g. new business lead generation, referrals, retention of existing business)
Engagement (e.g. client engagement through phone calls, emails, proposals, parent/administration meetings, WE Day events)
Customer Service (e.g. courtesy calls, seek and implement client feedback)
Play a starring role in contributing to the fun and friendly atmosphere of the School Engagement team as someone that supports others and helps drive our culture.
Meet with Headmasters, school administrators and teachers to communicate the lifelong benefits ME to WE’s volunteer trips offer.
Prepare and host a variety of events where you will leverage your persuasive communications skills to create excitement amongst parents and prospective student travellers.
Embrace and exhibit the culture and Core Values of ME to WE each and every day.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree.
1-2 years of proven sales experience. Ideal candidate will have experience working in an outside sales/territory management role.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Comfort with public speaking an asset.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner at all levels; internal and external to the organization.
Friendly, outgoing self-starter with the ability to engage a variety of clients (educators, parents, headmasters) on the phone & in person.
Flexibility as some work in the evenings may be required.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner at all levels; internal and external to the organization.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.
A valid driver’s license and valid passport as international travel may be required.
