The Dominican Renaming Park Committee [DPRC]was established by a few volunteers who are involved in the beloved sport of baseball in the City of Toronto. The main purpose of the DPRC is to rename Caledonia Park, Santo Domingo PARK. In view of the many contributions that people of Dominican Republic heritage have made to the Toronto Blue Jays in particular, we are planning to establish a monument that visibly displays our love for Canada through the sport of baseball.

We are confident that other Canadians will appreciate and respect the proud renaming of Caledonia park, Santo Domingo PARK. This Gala will help raise funds for all the Park Renaming efforts including tranforming the park into a Training Centre to uplift diverse youth through the sport of baseball.
