Founded in 1979 by businessman, philanthropist and respected polo player, Colonel Michael C. Sifton, Polo For Heart has been raising funds and awareness for heart and stroke related charities since its inception.
Polo For Heart takes place over three days, and features two international polo matches each day. Besides the action on the field there is shopping, a silent auction, food and drinks, a children’s village, half time entertainment, and the traditional Champagne divot stomp. Thursday's Polo Under The Stars evening event, is the kick-off party to the entire weekend, and a glittering night of polo, dinner & dancing. This year’s theme is THE WHITE HOT POLO PARTY, with a suggested dress theme of white. Saturday and Sunday's features the traditional Polo For Heart afternoon events, and a great day out with friends and family. Don’t forget to wear your best hat, there is a daily hay contest with prizes awarded for the finest or most original headwear.
