Chai Lifeline Canada is seeking a Full time Peer-to-Peer Campaign Manager to provide leadership and development for the organization’s entire peer-to-peer fundraising strategy.

Powered by donors and volunteers, Chai Lifeline Canada has been able to help thousands of families over the last decade and we’re just starting! The Peer-to-Peer Campaign Manager will have responsibility for the success and goals of our national peer-to-peer fundraising programs, which include Team-Lifeline runs, Bike for Chai, Scotiabank Marathons, as well as our various events across the country. In this exciting new role you will be recruiting and developing relationships with bikers and runners as well as our organization’s major stakeholders.You will be responsible for executing exceptional community events and overseeing several committees. Once you’ve established yourself with our existing major active events, you’ll develop new initiatives that will help promote and support the work that Chai Lifeline Canada does.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruit those in the running and biking communities to partake in Chai Lifeline events Collaborate with Development team to implement effective peer to peer program strategies Oversee community engagement through effective communication methods including new donor conversion mailing, holiday cards and donation cards Maintain and foster effective relationships with event participants, team captains, donors, volunteers and sponsors, providing excellent customer service, coaching and stewardship while strategically identifying ways to maximize fundraising results Develop and maintain corporate sponsorship within the athletic industry Develop suitable incentive offers to drive registration and fundraising for P2P events Oversee logistics for events from inception. You’ll work with the Development team to develop realistic budget proposals, planning events, setting up engaged committees and executing events Processes donations and manage the donor database. Generate reports for Director of Development as needed Train and supervise administrative volunteers Conducts research for appropriate grants Coordinate various social media channels and online campaigns to support our fundraising calendar Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS A passion for active sports, health improvement initiatives and physical activity development programs. Familiarity with the running or biking community is a bonus A university degree or college diploma The capability to sell a new concept or opportunity to a group of people Excellent interpersonal communication and networking skills Understanding effective use of social media to support a project and self brand First-hand experience of engaging and working in a non-for-profit or community based organization would be ideal Experience in planning and executing successful events Experience in designing and or producing marketing materials A strong knowledge of best practices in peer-to-peer fundraising Excellent organization, multitasking, attention to detail, research and analytical skills Highly motivated with ability to work in a collaborative team environment while also being proactive and able to work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Occasional travel required Willing to work flexible hours around fundraising events, including some evenings and weekends HOW TO APPLY Email resume and cover letter to: We thank all candidates for their interest and advise that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
