O! Happie Days – The Untold Stories Fundraiser Fashion Show is created to raise funds to help facilitate the establishment of a helpline for LGBT youth who need support in Jamaica.
This is in partnership with J-FLAG, the foremost organization in Jamaica advocating for the rights of the LGBT community in the country.

At the event: We will share stories and awareness of the conditions of our LGBTQ sisters and brothers in Jamaica. What they deal with and how we can be of support to them. Happie believes “a talk can change it all”. The helpline will provide counseling and support for those in need: those questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity, intervention for suicidal ideation, counseling for couples, and advice and support on a range of other important issues. At the fundraiser, I will be launching the ‘I Am Necessary’ collection of the Happie - All Gender fashion line - Inspired by Humans, Made for Humans. Created as a conversational collection for healing and transformation and sharing the message as a reminder, that we are all necessary. Callaborating with local designers; Maryna Федоренко (Fedorenko) & Naa-Adei Laura Marmon (nlm_garments) to create a cohesive collection for the show. For the event we’ll have a fashion show, a guest speaker, music and dancing as well as food and drinks. Proceeds from the event, sales of merchandise and raffle tickets will go to the our friends at the JFlag Foundation to facilitate the establishment of the first helpline dedicated to the LGBT youth. Come join us on Wednesday, February 17th at the Glad Day Bookshop located at 499 Church Street from 7PM - 10PM. Early bird tickets on sale now. Early bird $35 (until January 27th) Regular Tickets: $45 **Limited space available**
