This three-part series of workshops is sponsored through a partnership between Sage Solutions, The Guelph Community Foundation and PIN, The People and Information Network. The workshops will provide participants with a practical, “road tested” planning template for each of the three phases of strategic planning. Workshops will work through these tools interactively, including ample opportunities for questions and work time for pairs of participants to make tailored progress related to their own situation. Attend one, two or all three. Each three-hour session will include a light dinner. An organizational ticket allows up to two participants per organization to attend — ideally a senior leader and a member of your board executive.
The first workshop, Planning to Plan, will focus on aligning your strategic planning approach with your needs and available resources. Participants will learn what it takes to develop a useful strategic plan, how to decide whether to conduct that task internally or with an external consultant, and how to be set up for success either way. If you know that strategic planning is on the horizon for your organization (or should be!), then this workshop is for you.

Workshops will be led by Dr. Rebecca Sutherns of Sage Solutions. Rebecca is a Certified Professional Facilitator with over 20 years of experience helping public benefit organizations collaboratively create practical strategies that provide them with renewed energy and focus.
