Start date/term of position: August 3rd to September 21 Shifts are 5:00pm–9:00pm What better way to enjoy your Wednesday’s summer nights than encourage others to take part in playing some ping-pong, hula hoops and other fun games!Application Deadline: As soon as possible

Fun floater volunteers will:

*Proactive in having serious fun by jumping into any activity to get it started.
*Take a spin with a Hula hoop.
*Breeze through different areas and tasks Deliver super customer service, provide information and give directions
*Engage with children and families to get them to participate in the different activities.
*Have a natural love of and confidence in engaging with new people.

What you bring: you’re a people person, eager to jump in and help with the task at hand. You enjoy being outdoors and have a love for community. Experience with food handling or working with families is an asset. Smart serve is an asset.

When and where: commit to at least 4 shifts on Wednesday evenings from July 6th through August 3rd in the children’s garden at Evergreen Brick Works. Shifts are 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and will take place outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather.

How we’ll support you: volunteers will receive orientation/training early August on-site and continued support from evergreen staff as well as our good friends from pizzeria libretto during the event. Exact date is to be determined.

Perks: Watch the sun set on the city while taking in the beauty of Evergreen Brick Works – The pavilions space animated with food trucks, a bike obstacle course, pin pong tables and many other games.

Good to know: Evergreen runs a free shuttle bus to Evergreen Brick Works and is extended to 9:00pm on Wednesday evenings. The 28A Bayview South bus will also be doing frequent stops to EBW. Getting here.
