Where and when

Kew Gardens Rink (at foot of Kew Gardens park by the lake)

Reached via Lee Avenue or Waverley Road

Sunday, February 17, 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

On Ice Activities

The rink is “under permit” (city hall vernacular) to the church and we organize the following on ice activities:

– Free skating

– Games including shinny (plastic sticks only)

– Skating certificate earned by young people, in keeping with Winter

– Activity badge for Girl Guides/Brownies/Cubs and Scouts (Open to all kids)

Off Ice

Outside the rink we provide free hot chocolate with seating around a fire pit overlooking the lake. There are also heated changing rooms and washrooms.
