The Disbursement Analyst is responsible for providing day to day disbursement stream accounting and support to the Jumpstart team. You will have the ability to work independently as well as liaise with members of the Jumpstart team as well as cross functional teams within CTC What you’ll do All aspects of processing of disbursements for the Charity. Ensure integrity of financial information and use of financial controls for the disbursements module. Respond to internal and external inquiries on a timely basis. Establish and maintain excellent rapport with all contacts. Provide timely and accurate reporting with respect to disbursement status for various meetings throughout the year. Oversee Canadian Tire cost centre reporting and reconciliation, employee expense reports and other cost centre cross charges. Assist with business need, as required (assistance with quarterly reporting, forecasting, year-end audit, and other projects as required). What you’ve done University degree in accounting / business. Must be actively working towards or have completed the CPA accounting designation. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar accounting roles. Proficiency MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required. Experience in Microsoft NAV or Financial Edge (Blackbaud) is a definite asset. Experience in a Charity environment is a definite asset.
