The Administrator, Events will support the Corporate and Community Development team during the busiest event and fund-raising season at Prostate Cancer Canada. This includes “Rock the Road Raffle”, “Step Up Challenge” “Wake Up Call Breakfast” and the Father’s Day related events of “Plaid for Dad” and “Do it for Dads Walk/Run”. This position will require occasional evening and weekend hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Execute communications plans for event /campaign participants Execute and track fundraising/stewardship calls to event/campaign participants Execute and track stewardship activities related to fundraising/customer service Work closely with development team to maximize participation and participant satisfaction. Events Support: Support PCC events team with logistics and communications tasks: ie event day execution, support, emails and e-blasts, follow up telephone calls, Offer support at PCC events (as required) ie: setup/tear down, volunteer training, placement of signage and sponsor activations, participant registration, merchandise and/or ticket sales, auction support. Assist with stewardship of volunteers and committees Data Analysis: Assist with monitoring campaign performance, reporting and measuring results QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS Excellent communication (oral and written) Sales, telemarketing or fundraising experience preferred Customer service or after sales experience Good social and interpersonal skills Computer (MS Office, MailChimp) Disciplined, structured and highly organized Ability to work to deadlines Ability to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
