Japanese Film Appreciation - 1896 To Today Get ready for the 2011 Shinsedai Cinema Festival by learning more about Japanese film. The course will cover each decade from 1896 to now through key films, film-makers and major cinematic movements as seen through the past 115 years of Japanese history.

Instructor - Shinsedai Cinema Festival Co-Artistic Director and J-Film Pow-Wow founder Chris MaGee

8-week course from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; March 16th to May 11th, 2011

Cost - $70 (JCCC members), $113 (non members; includes full JCCC annual members and benefits)

Location: Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, 6 Garamond Court (Eglinton and Don Mills, north east of the Science Centre)
