Earth Day Canada is currently seeking a volunteer to help promote the Community
Environment Fund (CEF) by expanding the program’s outreach database.

The
Earth Day Canada Community
Environment Fund (CEF), in partnership with Sobeys, provides financial grants of up to $20 000 to support local environmental initiatives and projects in Ontario. As a result, not-for-profit organizations, charities and schools have a greater opportunity to develop sustainable projects that educate and inspire action in communities across the province.

Core Responsibilities:
-Diversify CEF’s outreach database to include educational institutions, faith-based organizations, youth groups, not-for-profits and charities
-Assist in the online promotion of CEF
-Provide general program and administrative support as necessary
Qualifications:
-Excellent research skills
-Working knowledge of the internet and Microsoft Office suite
-Able to work well independently and also as an active team member
-A keen interest in environmental issues and community driven initiatives
Additional Information:
The Outreach and Database Volunteer must be available part-time (2 days a week) from November 21 - to December 16. This position can be done from home or in the
Earth Day Canada office.
