Ready, set, bid!
Design Hope Toronto’s annual ‘must attend’ art auction is happening on Friday, April 13.
Twenty-six astounding works of art will be up for auction and raffle at St. John’s Parish Hall, 186 Cowan Avenue, with all proceeds going to the Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre (PARC).
Admission is by donation, and the catered event will also include music and door prizes. The CBC’s Marcia Young will be hosting, with Bill Kime of Waddington’s returning as auctioneer.
PARC is a social service agency that helps people who have struggled with poverty,
homelessness and mental health ailments. PARC recently developed Edmond Place, a supportive housing complex with 29 units of permanent and affordable housing.
Design Hope Toronto is completely volunteer-driven and since 2005, we have raised over $80,000 for Toronto’s
homeless while promoting local artists.
Please join us and make your mark in adding to that total!
