
Comedy Festival Volunteers
Do you like to laugh? Of course you do, that was a rhetorical question. The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival is looking for fun-loving volunteers to help us make the our annual sketch
comedy tournament, Sketch Com-Ageddon, the greatest yet!
The Sketch Com-Ageddon tournament is a week-long sketch
comedy battle-royal featuring 48 sketch troupes over 5 nights. Troupes compete for the acclaim of judges and the audience, who ultimately determines the tournament champion. It’s a winner-takes all affair, as the wearer of the Sketch Com-Ageddon crown claims the entire entry fee pool and instant acceptance into the 2012 Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. We want YOU to be a part of the magic. The funny magic.
We are looking for assistance in the following areas:
- Box Office
- Front of House
- Audience Engagement
If you want to be a part of the fun, are at least 18 years of age, able to commit to a volunteer orientation and at least one shift during the event (June 12th-16th), we’d love to hear from you! We offer a fun work environment, short shifts, and perks. Aside from the pride and lols you’ll get as a volunteer with us, we also offer:
- A Volunteer Rush Pass, to see free shows when you’re not on shift
- Invitations to our exclusive Sketchfest Army Outings
- And more awesome things to come!
