The Charity Post Offers Free Fundraising

     

There is a brand new way to fund-raise.

TheCharityPost.com awards money to a charity and a member of the public every week.

“The way we raise funds is new and exciting” says website creator Michael Jahn. “Each week, money from advertising is split between a person and a charity. It's like a lottery that you don't buy tickets for.”

According to Mr. Jahn, “The question I get most often is, ‘Is it for real’ Take a look at some of the biggest companies online. They offer free email, free video hosting, free maps, and free translation services all of which are funded by advertising. It's time for charities to benefit too!”

Any government-registered charity can join The Charity Post. For a chance to win, a valid email address and a minute a week are the only requirements.

Members are entered into a lottery when they log-in and vote for a charity. Every week, the jackpot is split between the winning member and the charity they voted for.

The Charity Post offers a wide variety of products and services through a virtual shopping mall on the site. Whenever people visit advertisers through The Charity Post and make purchases, commissions are collected and applied to the weekly prize and the cost of running the site.

"It's a great way to keep our members actively thinking about us every day when they vote." says Erin Kieffer of the Action Volunteer Alliance. "Several of our members who have won have donated their winnings back to us.”
