The mission of the Canadian Transplant Society to enhance the existing databases of the various provincial registries they are doing a great job managing the distribution and administration of all registered donors and we will enhance their files through our drives and awareness programs, and much more . Establish a family and friends awareness program, (as more than fifty percent of organ donations are lost due to lack of communication). Supply and maintain state of the art organ transportation units to all provincial hospital that preserve the length of time an organ can be out of a body. See attached pictures Establish and maintain hospital cold room storage facilities that as well enhance the viability and stability of the organs to be transplanted Establish a membership of all the organ donation charities across the country so we can create a united front. Help with family support though our network of friends. Aid in assistance for those not fortunate enough to live near a transplant center and require financial assistance.
