As Canada is becoming more diverse and multicultural, particularly the GTA region, education has to reflect the student body. There is an urgency to make changes to our curriculum to reflect our student population, and the needs for new information giving the rapid changes in Canada, and around the world. Hence the Ministry of Education in Ontario and the school boards are promoting inclusive curriculum and global citizenship perspectives throughout GTA and the province.
